Jia Qinglin s Revisit SANY

On January 29, Mr. Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, paid a visit to the Beijing Industrial Park of Sany Group. Mr. Jia Qinglin was accompanied by Mr. Liu Qi, Party Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee.
At the demonstration area, Mr. Liang Wengen, Chairman of Sany Group, made a detailed introduction to Mr. Jia Qinglin about the development of Sany Group and the pile driving machinery and wind power equipment and so on. Sany s industry-leading products, including the truck-mounted concrete pump with the longest boom (72 meters) in the world, the intelligent rotary drilling rig, the biggest tonnage excavator, the 1,000t crawler crane etc., along with a R&D team comprising more than 3,800 specialists, and an annual input of over one billion in R&D, all represent the enterprise s confidence and strength in development.
Mr. Jia Qinglin asked about Sany s development overseas. Chairman Liang Wengen briefed him on Sany s unique mode of global expansion and the exploration of the international market. Sany s Indian plant started production in 2009, the Sany America is under construction, and the Sany Germany is in the stage of planning and designing. In the meantime, great achievements have also been made in international marketing, with sales and services covering up to 150 countries and products exported to more than 110 countries and regions. More than 1,300 sales representatives and service engineers are working overseas and providing international customers with first-class products and services. Among them nearly 300 foreign employees are dedicated to Sany s going global endeavor.
Mr. Jia Qinglin showed his approval for Sany s approach to going global and stressed that the company should put more emphasis on the building of industry chains, particularly green industry chains.
