On March, 4th, visitors from Chihlee Institute of Technology (CIT) Taiwan arrived in HZU; they were the President Shang Shichang, dean of studies Chen Zhulong and Wang Zhengxu, the director of Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Rearch Center. They and HZU s president, teachers and students held an informal discussion in Administration Building.
During the discussion, Party Secretary Yang welcomed the visitors and briefly introduced HZU s background. He indicated, HZU and CIT both are local universities which focus on developing practical talents; therefore, both can share and learn from the other in talent development. He hoped teachers and students of CIT could usually visit HZU in order to intensify both universities mutual communication.
President Shang expressed, CIT pays attention on developing diversified campus culture and students moral education. He hoped students who grow up under such environment could form a knowledge and social spirit that insists on getting to the bottom of matters.
It was reported that in 2010 HZU had chosen 9 excellent undergraduates to CIT for a semester study.
