Mar. 25th -The GDUFS Development Foundation held its first council conference on the north campus on March 23rd. Secretary of the CPC Committee Xu Zhenhua, President Sui Guangjun, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee Chen Jianping, Xu Guobin and Director of the CPC & Campus Offices Li Yunming, Vice Secretary of the Discipline Office and Chief of the Inspection Office, Jin Zhongyang, participated in the conference. The conference was hosted by Xu Zhenhua.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Xie Weiguang, Deputy Director of the CPC and Campus Offices gave a brief introduction about the establishment of the Foundation. After long and detailed preparation, most of the work to set up the Foundation has been consummated. The counselors then actively discussed how to improve the new Foundation.
As for managing the Foundation, Xu Zhenhua was elected Director-General, Sui Guangjun elected as Deputy Director-General, and Xie Weiguang is now General Secretary.

In a speech made by Sui Guangjun, he talked about the relentless spirit of GDUFS while organizing the Foundation. Meanwhile, he stated that the fund collected by the Foundation will be utilized to benefit students and teachers at GDUFS.

He went onto say that the establishment of the Foundation is a milestone in the development of GDUFS. Therefore, he asked that the new Foundation improve and enhance the comprehensive ability of GDUFS. He ended with saying that there was still a lot to be done, and that the people involved should devote themselves to the future development of the Foundation.
In a conclusion presented by Xu Zhenhua, he emphasized that the process of the establishment of the Foundation should be accelerated. Also, the stipulations and the working schedule should be consummated. Also, that learning from the experience of other universities is essential. He ended by expressing his sincerest wish that the Foundation would contribute to the development of GDUFS.
