November 21st- November 14th, in the 2010 China's Model United Nations (CNMUN), GDUFS delegation stood out among 61 universities delegations from home and abroad and won the highest award the Best Delegation Award. Students Qin Hui and Zeng Yunru, with their outstanding performances, won the Outstanding Delegate Award.
Model united nations activities from HarvardUniversity in the 1950s.The participating representatives simulated diplomats and obeyed the United Nations rules and procedure. They discussed hot international issues in the simulated chamber, drew up the draft resolution, and voted. CNMUN was established in 2004 and was held in mid November each year.
The conference is organized by the United Nations Association of China, sponsored by the Australian Human Rights Commission members and contracted with SichuanInternationalStudiesUniversity. It attracted participants from China and more than 250 outstanding university students from Australia. During the three-day conference, all the delegates discussed heatedly on the two international issues Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on the Universal Realization and Effective Enjoyment of Human Rights.
GDUFS delegation was led by Mr. Su Gaoyang. Under the guidance of teachers in GDUFS, the four delegates staged an impressive performance and finally won two prizes. GDUFS delegation was the only winner of the Best Delegation Award.

It is reported that our Model UN Team did sufficient preparation in material collection and writing position papers. They did systemic research in changing script and the expansion of diplomatic knowledge. Before the game, our principal Zhong Weihe, and others related provided many valuable comments and suggestions.
