University Vice President Professor Zhang Li meets the Hungarian Prime Minister's education adviser Mr. Dessewwfy Tibor and his colleagues on the afternoon of July 7 2009. Professor Zhang first gives a brief introduction of the university s latest development. She says that Guangdong University of Technology attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchanges with universities and research institutions abroad in fields like teachers and students exchanges, joint scientific research and other cultural exchange activities. She stresses that Hungary has traditional strengths in engineering research, and the cooperation prospect between two sides is promising.

He points out that Hungary has the highest rate per capita in terms of Nobel Prize winners in the world, and its universities and research institutions take leading positions too.
