Doctor Gu Siming, Dean of Yuan Ze University and Mr. Feng Mingde, deputy director of Lifelong Learning Department of Yuan Ze University visited GDUT on September 2, 2009. Vice President Mr. Chen Lizhong met the guests on behalf of the university. Mr. He Hanwu, Director of Academic Programs Division, Mr. Yan Qiusheng, Director of Graduate Office, Ms. Fang Lingling, Director of Office for Hangkong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs, Mr. Liu Miao, director of Educational Center of General Knowledge attended the meeting.
GDUT and Yuan Ze University established a sister university relationship in 2008. Yuan Ze University was a university focusing on graduate education and high-level research. The visit has further strengthened the link between the two universities. Mr. Chen Lizhong expressed his welcome to the guests and introduced the development of the university in recent years. He hoped that the two universities could further expand cooperation areas on the basis of the present academic information exchange and mutual visit of teaching staff. The two sides made an active discussion on exchange of graduate students and exchange of teaching staff to give short-term and long-term lectures and agreed to carry out relevant cooperation as soon as conditions permit. After the meeting, the guests visited the University City campus.
