Members of Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee Visit GDUT

On April 28, 16 members of Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of Guangdong Province came to our university for observation, investigation and research with Mr. Yang Huawei, Dean of the Committee in the lead. Mr. Liu Dayun, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee had a discussion with the guests.
During the meeting, Mr. Liu Dayun introduced the great-leap-forward development of GDUT and emphasized the university s experiences of education and management of minority students as well as its measures against foreign religious infiltration. Dean Yang Huawei highly praised the university s student education achievements and affirmed that the University s effective education and management of minority students helped promote unity among ethnic groups and maintain campus stability.

Later, the guests visited Dongfeng Road Campus and University City Campus, including the university history exhibition, ExperimentalTeachingCenter and EngineeringTrainingCenter. The guests admired the university s beautiful campuses, advanced equipments, scientific management and the teachers and the students high spirit. Directors of Office of the CPC Committee, United Front Work Department and Student Affairs Office attended the meeting.
