2010 Hangzhou-International Tea-banquet Exhibition co-sponsored by CITCI, ZAFU and Linan Municipal Party Committee was held at Zhejiang A & F University on Oct. 23rd -24th.
At the exhibition, teams from China, Italy, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore and Macao showed their own style of tea-banquet design and static brewing techniques, which revealed different culture and art as well as calmness and elegance of tea-brewers. It was a brand banquet of vision and heart that we were enjoying not only tea flavor and design but also philosophy and life.
International Tea-banquet Exhibition is a fixed item of China International Tea Culture Institute (CITCI). On the morning of 23rd, the opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Zhang Liqin, Vice President of ZAFU, in the activity center. Zhou Guofu, Chairman of Political Consultative Conference of Zhejiang Province, President of CITCI, Liu Feng, former Chairman of Political Consultative Conference of Zhejiang Province, Honorary President of CITCI, Xu Hongdao, Executive Vice President of CITCI, Yu Rongren, President of Hangzhou Tea Culture Institute, Zhu Zhiquan, Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture of Zhejiang province, Xuan Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of ZAFU, and Shao Yi, Secretary of Linan Municipal Party Committee, together with other participants and guests of leadership, were invited to attend. After proclaimed open by Zhou Guofu, Xuan Yong and Shao Yi addressed successively on behalf of the host, and students from School of Tea Culture presented tea to the guests and showed tea ceremony of Confucianism.
This exhibition activity got a tight schedule. Except the opening ceremony and exhibition activity on the morning of 23rd, inauguration ceremony of school building of Tea Culture was also held; there was a meeting of Forum on International Tea Culture Space in the library in the afternoon and an award ceremony of International Tea-banquet Exhibition in the activity center on the morning of 24th.
