Upon the invitation of ZSTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Automation and International Exchange & Cooperation Division, Prof. Nishikawa Tadakatsu of SagaUniversity paid a visit to our university from Dec. 3 to 8.
Prof. Nishikawa intended this visit to exchange with fluid transport and energy-saving pump technique research team headed by ZSTU Prof. Jin Yingzi the latest research accomplishment that teachers from Science and Engineering Department of Saga University and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Automation of ZSTU have achieved concerning the energy-saving pump and fan technique, discuss over further postgraduate exchange programs and the possibility and means of cooperative research in terms of robots and agricultural machinery.
Besides, Prof. Nishikawa delivered three academic lectures for the postgraduates of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Automation and was also invited to School of Sciences and School of Foreign Language Studies to deliver lectures, which informed ZSTU students of the latest information on their major studies and further acquainted them with Japanese language and culture.
President Qiu Songliang had a friendly meeting with Prof. Nishikawa during the visit.
Prof. Nishikawa is an old friend of ZSTU and has done a great deal of work for promoting the friendly exchange between the two universities. It is the fourth time that he has visited ZSTU.
