Zhao Yunzhou, Shao Longfei, and Li Jing, students from the Department of Architecture, KeyiCollege, were invited to the Award Ceremony of the China Energy Conservation Cup, a contest of college students architectural designs. Their winning works are Seclusion in Park by Zhao and his team and The Deep Breath of Mountains by the team headed by Shao, the former being awarded the First Prize and the latter the Prize of Excellence. The ceremony is also a part of the annual meeting of the Architects Association of Zhejiang Society for Civil Engineering.

The prizes can be attributed to the Department s longtime commitment to students extra-curricular activities. It is an acknowledgement of its efforts to emphasize both the artistic creation and the architectural technology in the teaching and to stress energy conservation and emission reduction in the students design.

The China Energy Conservation Cup is the third contest of this kind, the other two being the Kunhe Cup and the Jianhong Cup. It is sponsored by the Architects Association of Zhejiang Society for Civil Engineering, the Zhejiang Branch of the China Green Building Council, Zhejiang Energy Conservation Industry Development Co., Ltd.
