The distinguishing feature of Nanjing Audit University lies in auditing, which would make NAU number one and unique. said Mr. Pan Maoyuan in his academic lecture at NAU on September 24, 2005, after the study of the 11th Five-year Plan of NAU. The 85 year-old Professor of Xiamen University enjoys the reputation as famous educationalist and initiator of high education of China.
Over 300 teachers and functionaries of NAU attended the lecture. After the lecture, Mr. Pan accepted the certificate of Honorary Professor awarded by President Wang Jiaxin.
