The 34th ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM/ICPC) Asia held its live part between October 9th and 11th in China University of Science and Technology. The event attracted more than 100 teams representing about 60 universities from all of China. Wu Weimin, Jin Cheng and Yang Xiaodong took part in the contest on behalf of NUPT and won the bronze medal. It was the first time the university had shown up in the event.
