NUIST Adorned by the Flags Representing 109 Countries or Regions.

On Sep. 11, a broad square is in place in NUIST, which serves as the site for flying the flags representing the WMO, 109 countries or regions and NUIST itself. NUIST has always engaged in extensive international cooperation and exchanges, and a regional meteorological training center is setup here on campus by the WMO. Since 1990, intermediary or high-level meteorological professionals and administrators from 94 countries or regions received training here. The 10th WMO Symposium on Education and Training will be held in NUIST from Sep. 18 to Sep. 23.
