Strategic Framework Agreement Signed between ZPMC and SMU

On the afternoon of January 12, Prof. Huang Youfang, Vice President of Shanghai Maritime University, was invited to attend the 2010 ZPMC Scientific Conference.

Mr. Kang Xuezeng, President of ZPMC, delivered a keynote speech and highly appreciated all-round collaborations with SMU. He pointed out that the principle of industry-university-academy-application has been a major guideline in ZPMC technological innovation.

Later on, on behalf of SMU, Vice President Huang signed the Strategic Framework Agreement with ZPMC. According to the new agreement, ZPMC and SMU will cooperate in various aspects such as personnel training, scientific cooperation and resource sharing to better serve for Chinese manufacture industry and development in oceanography.
