Moscow City Normal University Comes to the Campus

On May 13-18, 2007, a group of 3 from the MoscowCityNormalUniversity made a 1-week visit to the campus. They toured campus facilities, libraries of the Russian Language Department and German Language Department of the ForeignLanguageCollege, donated a great number of books to the Russian Department, talked with students and the faculty of the two departments and listened to some of the lectures.

On the morning of May 18, Vice President Liu Xincheng met with the delegation at the InternationalCultureBuilding and exchanged views in an in-depth way on the strengthening of intercollegiate cooperation and exchanges of students and faculty. Consensus was reached on a number of points and a supplement agreement was signed on cooperation and exchanges. The Vice President of the MoscowCityNormalUniversity said that they were very satisfied with the visit and invited the CapitalNormalUniversity to visit the MoscowCityNormalUniversity in October this year.

The CapitalNormalUniversity and the MoscowCityNormalUniversity signed a framework agreement on cooperation and exchanges in March 2006. The signing of the supplement agreement marks that intercollegiate cooperation and exchanges will unfold in a substantive manner.
