SCUT comes to a comprehensive cooperation with HAINU

On June 13, a 7-member delegation of Hainan University (HAINU) led by its President LI Jianbao and Vice-president DIAO Xiaoping visited South China University of Technology (SCUT) and discussed the cooperation of both universities. SCUT leaders LI Yuanyuan, DU Xiaoming and ZHANG Xichun had a meeting with the HAINU delegation and signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with them in the central conference room of Liwu Building of Science and Technology.

LI hoped that HAINU could come to a comprehensive cooperation agreement with SCUT on teaching, scientific research, talents training and faculty development, such as recommending postgraduates exempt from admission examination, recommending instructors to engage in advanced studies, encouraging outstanding PhD students to work in HAINU, exchanging students and inviting the interterm "migrant teachers" to have academic vacation in HAINU.

Leaders of both universities also had an extensive exchange with each other on some issues of common interests, such as energy saving and emission reduction, and then signed the cooperation agreement in these fields.
