Academician Shi Changxu Wins State Science and Technology Top Awards, 2010

On the morning of Jan. 14, State Science and Technology Award Conference was held in ceremoniously by Chinese Communist Party and Central Committee with the attendance of party and state leaders including Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang. Academician Shi Changxu, Honorary Chairman of XTU, won State Science and Technology Top Awards, 2010. President Hu Jintao awarded him the prize. On Jan. 12, 2011, Xiao Guo an, Secretary of the CPC Committee of XTU, Zhou Yichun, Vice President, Prof. Yang Qibin, Faculty of Materials, Optoelectronics and Physics went to Beijing especially to express congratulations to him. Shi is a famous material scientist and consultant of scholarship committee of Key Laboratory of Low Dimensional Material & Application Technology of XTU, Ministry of Education.
