On November 15th, Prof. Wei-Jen Chang from the Law School of Taiwan University visited SDU, and was conferred SDU Honorary Professorship. Vice-President Chen Yan presented Prof. Chang the certificate of the SDU honorary professorship in the ceremony. Vice-President Chen extended his welcome to Prof. Chang, and spoke highly of Prof. Chang s academic achievements at the conferment ceremony. He said that Prof. Chang s expertise will contribute to the academic research and education of SDU. Prof. Chang expressed his willingness to work with the teachers and students of the Law School of SDU. Together he hoped they could promote research on Chinese law culture and the construction of jurisprudence research teams, and also enhance international communication. The ceremony was hosted by Dean Qi Yanping of the Law School. It was attended by the relevant staff from the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Affairs Office, and teachers and students from the Law School. By Liang Lijuan |
