Visit by the President of Yuan Ze University, Taiwan

On September 27th, Prof. Tsong P. Perng, the President of Yuan Ze University, visited SDU. Vice-President Zhang Yun met with the guest.

Vice-President Zhang briefed President Tsong on the history, subjects and recent development of SDU, hoping the two universities could strengthen cooperation and exchanges in relevant fields. President Tsong introduced the characteristics of Yuan Ze University, especially its attempt at curriculum internationalization, and recounted the efforts that had been made in promoting cooperation between SDU and universities in Taiwan. He hoped the exchanges among teachers and students could be further promoted in the future. Prof. Huang Bobiao and Prof. Wang Jiyang from the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials, SDU, and Prof. Tong Guangwu, Director of the Hongkong Macao and Taiwan Affairs, SDU, were also present at the meeting.

During the visit President Tsong visited the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials and the SDU Exhibition commemorating the 10^th anniversary of its merger.
