President YANG met Vice-Chancellor of The Ritsumeikan Trust

Professor Monte CASSIM, Vice-Chancellor of The Ritsumeikan Trust, President of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University(APU) was welcomed by President YANG on Zijingang Campus on December 22, 2008.

APU was established by Ritsumeikan University and local government in 2000. As a partner university of ZJU, it set up a Confucians Institute jointly with ZJU in 2006. Since then, collaborative activities such as faculty exchange and mutual visits of top leaders have taken place regularly. The Confucians Institute has been operating smoothly with a teacher and deputy director working there for 18 months.
