Vegetable production can meet market demand at present, said Ma Shuping, deputy director of Department of Crop-Farming Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Ma said that due to the appropriate expansion in cultivation areas of winter and spring vegetables, the strengthening of field management and sound weather, greenhouse vegetables have reached a peak, so vegetables can meet market needs at present.
