First Costa Rican watermelons and yellow melons

Last week the first watermelons and yellow melons arrived from Costa Rica. Levarht a dutch importer has been an important importer of Costa Rican melons and works exclusively with growers. The melons are sold under the brand name Sweet Kiss, packaged in boxes of 10 and 13 kilos. The season runs until the end of April. According to Frank Levarht the melons are of a great quality with a fresh appearance, a good colour and an excellent taste (brix of 11).
