A temporary dormitory on a construction site in Tongzhou district collapsed Saturday morning, killing two workers and injuring two others, the Beijing News reported.

One of the six two-story prefabricated dorms at the site collapsed while workers disassembled the second story, burying four workers inside on the ground floor. Zhang Derong, 41, told the newspaper that she was working in the dormitory when it collapsed on her sister and two other men.

Zhang and her sister were sent to a local hospital for surgery. The two male workers died at the scene.
