Liaoning Provincial Museum
Liaoning Provincial Museum was founded in 1949 as the first museum built after the foundation of the People's Republic of China. The museum is located in Shenyang, the provincial capital of Liaoning, and contains exhibits from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties as well as a detailed history of North China. In total there are over 112,000 artifacts on display in the museum including cultural objects refers to archaeology, painting and calligraphy, carving, ceramic, cloisonn enamel, silk embroidery, dress and adornment, copper ware, currency, lacquer ware, furniture, oracle bone, stone tablet, etc.
