Sponsored by China Art Academy, a photography exhibition of Zhang Hong entitled in My Sea was unveiled on March 6 and will be on display until March, 12 at Hall 2 and 3.
The trilogy of My Sea in the form of the specific objects like the wood, the beach and the reef reflects the transmigration of the life and the boundless thought as well as his in-depth thought to the society, the environment and the mankind.
Born in the coastal city, Zhang Hong has been devoted to taking pictures of the spiritual scenery through literal thought. The identity of the fishermen s offspring made him very concerned about the transformation of the life and the spiritual process of the traditional fishermen in the industrial age. His photos depict the images left by the sea instead of the broad sea in the normal meaning, such as the fishing boat offshore, iced sand and changed reef. He added short poems to each photo and recorded the sounds of the sea and the life when photographing, which are broadcast in the exhibition hall.
