Hunan University and Changzhou City to Collaborate on Industry, Academia and Research Levels

Cao Yijia, vice president of Hunan University, extended his welcome to the delegation and made a brief introduction of Hunan University. Director of Scientific Research Center of Hunan University gave a detailed explanation about its key laboratories, key research projects and the commercialization of research findings. Secretary Fan stated that mechanical equipment manufacturing is the largest industry in Changzhou and a key research area of Hunan University, thus forming the basis for a sound cooperation between the two sides.

The two sides exchanged gifts and hoped for win-win cooperation on a more permanent basis. The delegation made a thorough investigation on the Hunan Official Web Portal at the Research Center for Internet Information Services (RECIIS) of Hunan University and, paid a visit to the Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Vehicle Body Design & Manufacture of Hunan University.

It is reported that a series of cooperation has been conducted between Hunan University and Changzhou City, including signing a cooperative agreement with Changzhou National High-tech Zone, establishing Hunan University-Changzhou City Research Center for Mechanical Equipments, and other joint projects with over 10 enterprises in Changzhou.
