The apricot garden in Zhangxia County, Changqing District is the best place for the first travel in early spring in Jinan . On the forenoon of March 25, the ninth apricot festival opened in Jinan.
Such activities as photographing and painting, famous springs appreciating, farmhouse tour and fishing is being held during March 25~31. Special bus route for tourism has been opened in Jinan Inter-city Bus Station. The apricot festival in Zhangxia County has become an important platform for performing external exchange, developing ecological tourism and improving the income of farmers. Apricots in Zhangxia County are approved as national protective products with geographical indication after being checked and approved by experts of Quality and Security Center for Agriculture Products, in addition, the garden are approved as Jinan Demonstration Garden of Urban Agriculture.
