November 16, 2010--The team of seven school leaders led by Pu Yuzhong, President of Changzhou University, visited Xinjiang Oilfield Company in Kelamayi City, which was their second stop in Xinjiang. They were well received by Sun Xiaogang, deputy general manager of the company, and the directors of the major departments of the company.
On behalf of the company, Sun expressed his congratulations on the renaming of Changzhou University and introduced the development and the blueprint of the company. Sun also expressed hopes of cooperation with Changzhou University in scientific development. Xu Delong, director of the Scientific Information Department, introduced production technology and scientific research of the oilfield company.
Pu Yuzhong, President of CZU, introduced the 32-year-development of Changzhou University, the process of the naming of the university and the running of the university, and especially the purpose of his visit. He emphasized that the development of CZU relies heavily on a close cooperation with the petrochemical industry and hoped to further the cooperation with Xinjiang Oilfield Company. Ding Jianning, Vice President of CZU, introduced the scientific research at CZU.
