President Jiang Chengyu Meets with Director Martin Wiedemann

On Oct. 10, President Jiang Chengyu met with German Aerospace Academy's Composite-Intelligent Materials Research Institute Director Martin Wiedemann and his family. President Jiang extends his warm welcome to Professor Wiedemann and gives a briefing on NPU's history and characteristics, hoping that Professor Wiedemann will carry out more in-depth cooperation with NPU in the areas of student education and scientific research.Professor Wiedemann also gives a briefing on his Composite-Intelligent Materials Research Institute, hoping to cooperate with NPU more extensively and fruitfully.

Professor Wiedemann was a vice president of the German Branch of Airbus Company, a designer in the German Branch of Airbus 380 and a leading engineer in the German Branch of A400M.

Present at the meeting are Tang Hong director of the Office of International Cooperation, He Guoqiang, dean of School of Power and Energy, and Professor Liao Mingfu.
