American Professor Xu Jun, who is the CSO of American Biochemistry Institute visited Jinan Biomedical Research and Development Base on March 23rd.
During his visit he also gave a lecture on Chinese medicine and modern medicine design: conclude, deduction or both . This speech included the combination of Western medicine in the development of computer drug design and modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. Prof. Xu introduced a drug target design, pharmacophore, practical drug design databases and Chinese medicine pharmacophore, to explore the modernization of Chinese medicine.
The students and teachers benefited a lot from Prof. Xu s profound knowledge. After the speech discussions on modernization of Chinese medicine and issues related to the management of National Registration of Chinese medicine were held between Prof Xu and the present faculty and students.
