School of Computer Science Attended 12th APSSA Conference

The 12th Asia-Pacific Student Service Association Conference was held in Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, from July 6 to July 9. At the invitation of APSSA conference organizing committee, the Student Support Team of School of Computer Science and Technology attended the conference.



At the invitation of the organizing committee, Prof. Zheng Qiang gave a topic speech on The Influence of Industry-based Student Innovation Team on the Cultivation of Innovation Capacity. Staff from the Student Support Team also made topic presentations relating to their papers.



Members of Student Support Team actively participated in activities on the conference agenda. They exchanged extensively with student support experts from Asia-pacific countries and domestic universities. Informal discussions were also held between them and students attending the Asia-Pacific Student Forum.



At the margins of the conference, the SCST Student Support Team visited Queensland University of Technology. They walked into the student apartment, making on-spot investigation on its accommodation facilities, management and services.

Attending the APSSA annual meeting is an important part of SCST Student Support Team s training scheme. From January on, 6 papers submitted by the Team to the APAAS meeting or its journal has been accepted or published.
