Senior Consultative Meeting on International Comparison Project Held in Beijing

Senior Consultative Meeting on International Comparison Project (ICP) of China, and the World Bank (WB) / Asian Development Bank (ADB) held in Diaoyutai, Beijing recently. Messrs. Li Yong, Vice Minister, Ministry of Finance of China; Xu Xianchun, Deputy Commissioner, National Bureau of Statistics of China; Alan Gelbach, Acting Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, World Bank; Ifzal Ali, Chief Economist, ADB, participated the meeting.

During the meeting, representitives exchanged views on PPP, and other related issues. Through frank and fruitful exchanges and consultations, both sides have improved mutual understanding and reached consensus.

Messrs. Li Yong and Xu Xianchun presided the meeting. The Delegation of WB, ADB, and a total of 50 representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Construction, MOFCOM, People's Bank, StateCouncilDevelopmentCenter, National Bureau of Statistics, Administration of Foreign Exchange, and State Council's Poverty Alleviation Office attended the meeting.
