How to educate children in a cheerful way and allow them to enjoy a relaxed and meaningful summer holiday is a key concern of many parents. At present, Ping An Insurance Group of China has launched the Ping An Hope Summer Camp . This will allow children in urban areas to join hand-in-hand with children from The Hope Primary School of Ping An to participate in farming life and visit the Revolutionary Education Base, the Youth Palace, the Science Museum and other tourist spots. It is hoped that the children will broaden their views, increase their knowledge and establish true friendships through these activities.
These activities were organized by Ping An Insurance Group of China and hosted by Ping An s branches throughout China. In July, Ping An Hope Summer Camp kicked off in ten major cities of China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Chendu, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang and Qingdao. There were twenty participants in each camp. Each Ping An branch selected ten from the winners of the previously-held China National Children s Safety Movement contest to join the camp. Ten of the best performing students of The Hope Primary School of Ping An were also selected to participate as well. These children have gained a pleasant experience with the tutor during this three-five day of camping life.
Each Ping An branch has organized some unified but localized activities for the summer camp. For example, the Beijing branch will introduce the history of the Old Beijing and arrange a party with the Beijing National Safety Youth Soccer Team. While Shanghai branch will bring the children to visit the venue of the First National Congress of the Communist Party, Shanghai Science Museum and the Oriental Pearl Tower. And Nanjing branch plans to bring the children to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre and arrange for them to experience the lives of farmers.
At the same time, subsidiaries everywhere will utilize this opportunity to visit The Hope Primary School of Ping An, present computers, desks, chairs, stationeries and books as gifts, as well as arrange one-on-one assistance.
