Beginning July 2004, Ping An Insurance has launched an on-line auto insurance claiming approval service, replacing traditional procedures handled manually, from initial reporting, submitting digital pictures, to handing in claiming documents, etc. This new service is projected to benefit many customers as 81% of all auto insurance claims are small claims under RMB3,000.
This has marked a significant milestone in Ping An s continued quest in becoming more standardized and professional. It has also showcased the Company s strengthened IT capabilities.
