Baosteel's Employees Joined Preparation Group of Blood Donation Volunteer

Being concerned about the areas struck by the Sichuan Wenchuan Earthquake, besides donating money and materials, Baosteel massive Communist Youth League members enrolled in "Emergency Preparation Group of Shanghai Youth Blood Donation Volunteer" in succession, responding to the proposal by Baosteel Youth League Committee on recruiting for the Group.

Called upon by Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee, on the morning of May 19, Baosteel Youth League Committee issued a notice in "Baosteel Youth Forum", titled "Notice on Emergency Recruiting for Preparation Group of Youth Blood Donation Volunteer", calling upon the fervent Baosteel youth to roll on their sleeves to join the Emergency Preparation Group of Shanghai Youth Blood Donation Volunteers to be ready at any time to donate the blood for quake fighting and relief.

The massive youth league members hailed the proposal: 325 people from Baosteel Branch, 65 people from Stainless Steel Branch, 152 people form Mid-Heavy Plate Branch, 131 people form Special Steel Branch, 727 from Baosteel Development, 219 from Baosight Software, and 188 from Baosteel International enrolled. Up to 5:00 pm yesterday, totally 2363 Youth League members from Baosteel enrolled in the Emergency Preparation Group of Shanghai Youth Blood Donation Volunteer; and the team was still growing.
