In the morning of March 28, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), Baosteel Group Corporation (Baosteel) and China Shipping (Group) Company (China Shipping) held the signing ceremony for letter of intent (LOI) on cooperation for Longxue Base Shipbuilding Project during the start ceremony of the lead ship of CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. According to LOI, the 3 magnates in Chinese shipbuilding, steel and shipping industries will set up a joint venture with Longxue Shipbuilding Base possessed by CSSC as the main body, to jointly operate the largest shipbuilding base in South China and form a complementary industrial chain.
