Hot gunning machine is successfully launched by Baosteel

Recently, Baosteel has first successfully exported self-propelled hot gunning machine by self R&D: After it was put into use at the steel plant at Ukraine, all the technical indices could meet the requirement. The machine has played an important role on enhancing the furnace age of BOF, reducing the cost of steel making and ensuring the security of production and the workers. The intelligent technology as anti-block material has taken a leading position in the world. Two patents and one technical know-how are mastered. The successful development of the domestic self-propelled hot gunning machine and its application at the steel plant of Baosteel have lifted the technical and manufacturing level of china in the field of metallurgical equipment. In the mean time, the refractory material is saved, the gunning process is improved, the furnace age is prolonged and the furnace protection technology for slag splashing is further promoted so as to enhance the production efficiency of steel making, reduce the cost and elevate the market competitiveness of Baosteel.
