Xu Lejiang Elected Vice Chairman SAST

A few days ago, Shanghai Association for Science & Technology (SAST) held the grand 8th Representative Conference. Baosteel Group general manager Xu Lejiang was elected vice chairman of the 8th Committee of SAST. Baosteel Ltd. vice general managers Li Haiping and Cui Jian were elected members of the 8th Committee of SAST.

This session reviewed and passed the report of the 7th Committee of SAST and SAST's Rules for the Implementation of Regulations of China Association for Science & Technology, and elected the new leading institution of SAST. This session also awarded some famous scientists the title of honorable members of SAST and commended the advanced workers and advanced collectives of SAST.

Baosteel Association of Science & Technology was appraised as an advanced collective of SAST. Lu Zuying, chosen as an advanced individual of SAST, delivered an exchange speech on behalf of enterprise association of science & technology.
