Successful Hot Commissioning No. 6 Converter Baosteel Branch

At the converter platform of No. 2 Steelmaking Plant Baosteel Branch, 3 converters stand erect side by side. At 16:00 on 7th December, as a result of 19 months striving, hot commissioning of the newly built No. 6 Converter which was integrated by Baosteel independently was smoothly carried out, which marks that the Potentiality Tapping Revamping Project of No. 2 Steel Making Plant Baosteel Branch has been entirely built and put into production.
After the No. 2 Blast Furnace was back on stream after the overhaul, Baosteel Branch rapidly achieved iron-steel balance; at the same time the proportion of high value added products would be expanded further.
