Half of the indexes set by BNA have reached the demonstration plant level.

20 of 41 economic and technical indexes set by BNA have reached the demonstration plant level. BNA has planed on July 2004 when it came into existence to become a world-class Automotive Steel Sheet manufacturer within two years with Automotive Steel Sheet Plant of Nippon Steel and Arcelor as demonstration plant.

Company has set up a Standard Comparing Group with general manager as leader, chosen 41 important economic and technical indexes according to the principle of "the same caliber the same level", which can materialize the real level of the company from 4 aspects namely general level, production consume, producing rate and products with the support of all joint venture parties---Baosteel, Nippon Steel and Arcelor, and unfolded to compare them one by one.

During more than one year of standard comparing, BNA has reached 20 of his important economic and technical indexes the demonstration plant level, from which resource using rate of normal cold outer plate, yield of Continually Anneal Unit and Hot Galvanize Unit output per hour etc. have exceeded the demonstration plant level for continually 5 months.
