Baosteel and Shanxi Coking Coal Signing Agreement on Cooperative Coal Development Project

Yesterday, in Shanghai Jin Mao Tower, Baosteel Group Corporation and Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co., Ltd. signed the Framework Agreement on Cooperative Development of Huozhou Coal & Power Ganhe Coal Mine, a 2,100,000 ton coal project as well as an important project of Shanxi - Shanghai economic cooperation of 2006.

Mr. Zhang Baoshun, secretary of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Yu Youjun, governor of Shanxi Province, Mr. Hu Yanzhao, deputy mayor of Shanghai, Ms. Xie Qihua, president of the board of Baosteel, Mr. Xu Lejiang, general manager of Baosteel, Mr. Dai Zhihao, vice general manager of Baosteel Ltd.

, Mr. Du Fuxin, president of the board of Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Liu Jianzhong, general manager of Shanxi Coking Coal, Mr. Shen Jinming, vice general manager of Shanxi Coking Coal, Mr. Yang Gengui, president of the board of Shanxi Coking Coal Huozhou Coal & Power Group, attended the signing ceremony.

Xie Qihua and Du Fuxin signed the framework agreement on behalf of both parties respectively. It is understood that Baosteel and Shanxi Coking Coal have good cooperative relation. The signing of the framework agreement will promote the strengthening of their cooperation, and will be helpful for the co-development of both enterprises.
