CCTV "Heart-to-Heart" Art Troupe Performed in Baosteel

On the afternoon of 26th April, CCTV "Heart-to-Heart" Art Troupe performed in Baosteel, the most modern super-large steel maker of China, extending the care of the Party Central Committee and the State Council for the working class of the whole country and the profound friendship of the people's artists to Baosteel people.

The artists and Baosteel employees celebrated together the coming May Day, perceiving the road of innovation of Baosteel and eulogizing "created in China" of the day. Leaders of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, CCTV and Baosteel, representatives of Baosteel model workers and workers from various sectors of Baosteel gathered together and enjoyed the fine performances of the artists.

Baosteel president of the board Xie Qihua extended warm welcome and heart-felt gratitude to CCTV "Heart-to-Heart" Art Troupe on behalf of all Baosteel people. Xie Qihua expressed that Baosteel people would carry out the concept of scientific development unswervingly as before according to the expectations and requirements of the leaders of the central authorities and the people of the whole country, that they would make greater achievements to repay the care and trust of the Party Central Committee, the State Council and the people throughout the country and that they would make greater contribution to build our country into first-class steel power.

CCTV and Baosteel presented silk banner and souvenir to each other. The banner from CCTV reads "Songs flying about the steel town in harmonious melodies; friendship flows full like the River water from heart to heart". The banner from Baosteel reads "Renowned in both art and virtue; friendship fills the whole steel town" The artists' performances aroused bursts of laughter and warm applause.

In the end, in the flying balloons and firework, all actors and Baosteel people made the oath of "Creating new brilliance in the decisive '11th five-year' battle", which echoed in the air for a long time. The performance will be aired in CCTV 1 in prime time on 30th April.
