Jia Qinglin Inspects WISDRI of MCC

On April 13, Jia Qinglin, Standing Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and Chairman of the Chinese People s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), inspected WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. (WISDRI), an MCC Group member. During the inspection, he stressed the earnest implementation of the spirit of the National People s Congress and the CPPCC and the firm belief to press ahead with the scientific development. Qian Yunlu, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the CPPCC, and major leaders of the local government accompanied Jia Qinglin in the inspection.

In the WISDRI exhibition hall, Jia Qingling and other leaders understood the history and major achievements of WISDRI, and heard the detail report of WISDRI chairman Xiang Mingwu on the development of WISDRI. Xiang s report covered main economic indicators; business development in steelmaking, energy, environmental protection, municipal engineering and other sectors; scientific research and development; and management innovation.

Xiang Mingwu also acknowledged Jia Qinglin for the care to MCC Group, particularly MCC Meili Paper Industry Group. Later, accompanied by WISDRI senior executives, Jia Qingling paid a visit to the First Structure Office, held a close talk with Shu Haitang, Shi Jun and other staff, asked them about their work and feelings, and understood their thoughts.

During the visit, Jia Qingling commended WISDRI for the working environment and performance, put forward new hopes and encouraged WISDRI to make more efforts in boosting the development of Wuhan East Lake Hi-tech Development Zone and supporting the construction of an energy-saving and environment-friendly society.
