Lecture by Prof. Tsubaki Noritatsu

A memorial lecture for the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of DICP was given by Prof. Tsubaki Noritatsu, University of Toyama, Japan, on 1st September. The title of Prof. Noritatsu's lecture was "From C1 Chemistry to C2 Chemistry: New Catalyst and New Process". The lecturing session was presided over by Prof. SHEN Wenjie of DICP. About 70 DICP scientists and graduate students, including Prof. XU Hengyong and Prof. CHEN Ping, attended the lecture.

In his lecture, Prof. Noritatsu presented new progresses made by himself and his research team in the research of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and in methanol synthesis under low temperature. His presentation attracted great interest of the listeners.

After the lecture, an Honorary Lecture Certificate on the 60th Anniversary of DICP was presented to Prof. Noritatsu by Prof. SHEN Wenjie on behalf of DICP.
