Nansha Agricultural Produce Distribution Center Opens

The Agricultural Produce Processing and Distribution Center at Hengli Town in Nansha District, which cost more than RMB 1 million to build, has officially opened for business. The project will become a mega-platform for the marketing of local specialties, such as sweet corns, flowering cabbages, and arrowroots. The center will distribute more than 25000 kilograms of chemical-free vegetables a month and package over 2000 cartons of chemic-free agricultural produce as gifts.
The center covers an area of more than 800 kilometers and has a cold storage of 48.12 cubic meters. It will specialize in the distribution, wholesale, processing and packaging of chemical-free agricultural produce grown locally, including leafy vegetables, melons and fruits, flavorings, fresh fruits, and vegetables as gifts.
