Sinotrans and China Shipping-Shell Sign Logistics Contract

Sinotrans and China Shipping-Shell signed a Polyolefin and Barreled Liquids Logistics Service Contract at the Dayawan Holliday Inn of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province on April 12. This is also the largest logistics contract ever reached by China Shipping-Shell so far. Zhao Huxiang, President of Sinotrans, signed his name on the document on behalf of the group, which indicates that the company has made an important breakthrough in its logistics services in petrochemical field.

Qin Wei, Assistant President of the Sinotrans, and representatives from Sinotrans Ruichi Logistics Co., Ltd, also attended the contract signing ceremony.

According to the contract, Sinotrans, in the coming five years, will transport over 700,000 tons of polyolefin and barreled liquid products to the customers of China Shipping-Shell scattered all over the country. And to ensure service quality, Sinotrans has particularly established its Dayawan branch Sinotrans Ruichi Logistics Co., Ltd to be in charge of this special project.

Before the ceremony, President Zhao Huxiang had made an inspection tour of China Shipping-Shell s plant at the invitation of its CEO and senior management, and exchanged gifts with them. He also visited the container yard, office building and trucks parking ground of Ruichi branch, and attended its service-launch ceremony.
