Participating Actively in the Expo and Sharing Opportunities of the Expo

The World Expo gains a reputation as "Olympic Pageant" in the fields of culture, economy as well as science and technology, and takes a significant role in promoting economic development of host countries. The organization of Shanghai World Expo 2010 will generate great effects in our whole country, especially in Yangtze River Delta. Located in the south wing of Yangtze River Delta, Lishui should take an active part in the World Expo and share the opportunities deriving from the World Expo.
At present, the family of a great celadon master Zhang Shaobin has been selected as a typical family to show themselves in Zhejiang Exhibition Hall. During the World Expo, the work and life state of the Longquan Celadon master Zhang Shaobin's family in decades will be depicted to reflect the close interdependence of Longquan Celadon Industry and households, and the development of Longquan Celadon Industry which relies on social economy. In the cultural art performance activities of Zhejiang Week in the World Expo, fish lantern dance from Qingtian County and Long Narrow Flag performance from Jinyun County have been selected into a large-scale square show Spring Overflowing in the Air of Zhejiang. Suichang Kunqu Opera and tea art, Longquan Celadon and Qingtian stone carving have been chosen into Splendid Work of Nature Zhejiang Exquisite Folk Craftsmanship Exhibition. Moreover, our city has arranged two competitive tourist routes which are listed as two of the twelve competitive tourist routes of the World Expo in Zhejiang Province. After the preliminary plot and line-up, a publicity video of Lishui City entitled "City and Countryside Share Clean Water and Green Hill" has stepped into the postproduction phase.
