The 2009 Chinese Cultural Month commenced in November. Recently, the foreign students held a wonderful party with students from Chinese Kongfu Association, Chinese Traditional Clothing Association and Painting and Calligraphy Association.

This activity is to help foreign students to get further understanding of China, experience traditional Chinese culture and promote mutual exchange. These three associations introduced the characteristics respectively, and then presented a wonderful show to foreign students, including martial arts like tai chi, boxing as well as swords and other weapons; Traditional clothing of Han Dynasty and the calligraphic skills. Foreign students were taught the basic essentials of Chinese calligraphy and painting. They expected a further and comprehensive understanding of this great country and its people, its culture from different angles in the future.
