CCTV-7 Shot a Feature Video on Qingtian

In a recent day, Science and Technology program crew of CCTV-7 visited Longxian Village of Fangshan Township, Qingtian County to shoot a feature video on intergrowth system of paddy rice and fish.
In June, 2005, the "symbiotic system of paddy rice and fish" of Longxian Village, Fangshan Township, Qingtian County was listed as one of the four conservation projects of first-batch Global Important Agricultural Heritage Systems by Food and Agriculture Organization. As the fifth anniversary approaches, Qingtian County is about to hold series of academic seminars, discussing the conservation and development of the world agricultural heritage. Meanwhile, Science and Technology program of CCTV-7 will broadcast 50-minute feature video in early June, in tune with the commemorative activities of the fifth anniversary of paddy rice and fish symbiotic system being listed as global agricultural heritage. The video has an overall demonstration of a long history and the conversation achievements of paddy rice and fish symbiotic system, and a concentrated reflection of the accomplishments of protecting and developing the paddy rice and fish symbiotic system, through the cultivation of fish fries, the scenes of transplanting rice seedlings, steeping fields, trimming fields, releasing fish fries and dragging for fish, the manufacturing process of dried fish, fish lamp performance and paddy rice-fish stone carving works.
