On the noon of March 2, Vice Governor Wu Dengchang met with Dai Huaya, SVP and Asia and Pacific Chairman of Air Liquide Group, and his associations in Xi an.
Air Liquide Group headquartered in Paris is one of Global 500 enterprises and a leader in global industrial, medical and environmental-protection markets. With its business covering 75 countries worldwide, the group s innovative technologies were widely used for pollution reduction, industrial energy consumption reduction, natural resources recycling and reutilization as well as new energy development. In early 1990s, the group has set up a fully-invested subsidiary Air Liquide (China) Investment Co., Ltd.
Wu Dengchang welcomed the guests to visit Shaanxi. After briefly introducing the economic and social development situations of Shaanxi Province, he said that Air Liquide Group has rich experiences in chemical industry and is an international enterprise with many advanced technologies. In recent years, Air Liquide Group has invested and constructed large-scaled production facilities in Weihe Fertilizer Plant and Yuheng Coal Chemical Industrial Park in our province, resulting in rapid development of friendly cooperation relationships between both sides.
Wu Dengchang also said that Shaanxi Province hopes to enhance the exchanges and cooperation strengths and expand wider cooperation spaces in future cooperation with Air Liquide Group.
Dai Huaye extended appreciations to hospitality of our province. He said that his visit aims at promoting the signed cooperation projects of the group in Shaanxi Province, and expand wider spaces for further increasing the investment in Shaanxi and enlarging the cooperation scope. During his visit to China, he will conduct survey and investigations in Yulin and other places of our province and seek for new cooperation possibilities, and will promote Yanchang Group to carry out new cooperation projects.
